As a result of our lobbying, the Countryside Agency have agreed to include the land to the west of the A32 and South of the A31 in the proposed boundaries of the national park. Other parts of the District were less successful, but we continue to press their case.
The period for individual consultation is now closed but there is a consultation of local authorities which ends on 16th August. YOur personal views can be passed to the District Council and they will be passed on to the Countryside Agency. The District Council need your comments as soon as possible and wll before the 16th August.
